The Art Of Visual Storytelling
Goa, India
When we first dreamed of The Art of Visual Telling, we knew we didn’t want it to be another technical filmmaking workshop. We weren’t here to talk about gear, presets, or timelines. We wanted to create a space where filmmakers could pause, step back, and ask a deeper question and Goa gave us the perfect setting to explore that question.
Beyond Frames and Edits
Over the days we spent together, we dove into the kind of storytelling that often goes unspoken — the quiet layers beneath a couple’s story, the art of listening deeply, and the process of discovering meaning in between the words.
This wasn’t just about shooting a film. It was about understanding the people in front of the camera.
Through long conversations, interviews, observations, and stillness, our participants learned to uncover the soul of a story — and to then translate that into visuals that feel honest, intentional, and intimate.
Every participant brought with them a hunger to go beyond the obvious, a willingness to unlearn, and a deep respect for the craft. Together, we created not just films — but relationships, realizations, and a new rhythm to how we approach storytelling. Goa gave us the light, but the real illumination came from within the group — through layered conversations, laughter over meals, and quiet reflections by the sea.
